What We Do
The Jabez Project is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which focuses on preparing students for the SAT/ACT test, the High School Exit Exam and college preparatory skills.  In addition to academic necessities, we also focus on the development of life and job training skills.

Why We Are Unique
What makes The Jabez Project unique is our methods.  We utilize Hip-Hop culture as an alternative teaching tool.  We understand that Hip-Hop culture is often looked upon negatively by many adults and the media.  But we also understand that Hip-Hop is one of the most prominent influences among our young people.  We make the most of its influence by using it to educate, inform, and instill confidence in our students to achieve in school and in life.  The Jabez Project was founded with the understanding that alternate forms of education are very necessary.  As the saying goes, “If you keep on doing the same thing, the same way, you will get the same results.” Believing this, we have created an alternative to improve student performance in educational standards and requirements. In response to all the controversy around Hip-Hop, The Jabez Project responds with the words of the late, great, Tupac Shakur “All Eyez On Me”.   Watch us as we utilize this sometimes controversial culture to encourage critical thinking, social change and community engagement by empowering youth to realize the full value of their potential.

Who We Are
We became part of the solution to the problems in education in 2004.  With a passion to provide R.O.P.E. (Resources, Opportunities, Preparation, and Empowerment) to communities, we serve students, families, teachers, mentors, after school coordinators, pastors and youth ministers – any person committed to reaching youth through relevant and effective education.
